Youth Blog What Do Teens At TNT Think?
August
This is a hard topic to write about because I have a “toss up” between two people: David and Paul. Paul would be an obvious choice, he wrote most of the New Testament, he was a Christian killer and became a “Saint,” and he was completely devoted to serving God to the point of martyrdom. David is also a great choice because he was the youngest, lowest, and least in his family but was anointed to become king. He followed God’s commands spectacularly, he was humble, and despite all of his trials he never wavered. I have made a decision between the two because you can’t have two favorites because that negates the definition of “favorite.” I will have to go with King David son of Jesse.
We all know most of the story, Samuel was instructed to find a new king of Israel because Saul messed up; he went to the house of Jesse, looked at his sons and anointed David (1 Samuel 16). David was then put in the service of Saul where he was liked, until the point Saul went crazy and wanted to kill him.
We all also know the story of David and Goliath: little tiny David went to the frontlines with lunch for his brothers, saw that a giant was being stupid and so he used his sling and stone to kill him then cut off his head with his own sword. Very cool. One of the most amazing things about that story is the fact that David was this weak, skinny, tiny dude (much like myself) that stood up to a nine foot giant. There would be no way that he could have done this if the spirit of God had not been on him. David was so young, but knew who his dad was and knew that he had his back. Saul had the entire Israeli army behind him and couldn’t stand up to this guy, but David had an “invisible person” with him and took that dude down. Utterly amazing. (1 Samuel 17)
I could go on and on with all these stories about David and how awesome he was, but the thing that I like most about him was that he was humble. He was instructed to build the temple for God, he was also told that his family will always be taken care of and he will always have a person on the throne. He was pretty much God’s chosen guy and he could have boasted and been proud. But he wasn’t. In fact he “went in and sat before the Lord, and he said: ‘who am I, oh sovereign lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? And as if this were not enough in your sight, oh sovereign lord, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant. Is this your usual way of dealing with man oh sovereign lord?’” (2 Samuel 7:18-19) David was flabbergasted that God would do this for someone that was just a poor shepherd boy.
Another thing that makes him my favorite person in the Bible is that God said, “’I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do anything I want him to do.’” (Acts 13:22) David was determined to do anything for God and search his heart. David really ministers a message of humbleness; the thing I need to work on the most. Out of the least God made him the most and he never once was prideful. He always said, “Yes” to everything God said. He lived a life of service to God and his people. Jesus Christ was a descendent of King David, but King David was a shepherd boy. His message is “Go after God’s heart, be humble and you will become great among men.”
My favorite person in the Bible is Solomon! This might be a cliché choice, but by reading about him it has just ministered to me so much! Solomon was David’s son and was the king of Jerusalem and was known for his wisdom, his wealth and his writings. He was also responsible for rebuilding the Holy Temple of Jerusalem. But what he is most famous for is how wealthy he was. It wasn’t on his own accord though, his wealth and fame come from God and Solomon’s own humility. God told Solomon he could have anything he wanted and God would give it to him; instead of asking for stuff, he asked for wisdom! Wow, that alone is powerful. Most people who were given that opportunity would ask for like money or something, but not Solomon!
"God said; 'Ask! What shall I give you?'" (I Kings 3:5)
"Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?" (I Kings 3:9
By reading in Kings about King Solomon it just astounds me of how close him and God were! And because Solomon sought after God with everything and just wanted to grow spiritually, God blessed him beyond all he could have imagined!
1 Kings 4:20-28 lists all of the physical blessings King Solomon had from God.
1 kings 4:29-34 “And God gave Solomon exceptionally much wisdom and understanding, and breadth of mind like the sand of the seashore. Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the people of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all other men….. His fame was in all the nations round about. He also originated 3,000 proverbs, and his songs were 1,005. 1 Kings 4:33-34 (AMP)
33 He spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon to the hyssop that grows out of the wall; he spoke also of beasts, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish.
34 Men came from all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from all kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom. “
The stories in kings about king solomon and how he used his wisdom was amazing! There were problems brought to him by the people of the land and he knew exactly what to do because he had the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord! (1Kings 3:16-28) Great story! Reading about how much King Solomon was blessed and how wise he was really makes me keep myself in line with what I ask for. God tells us he will give us anything we ask in His name… I would much rather have the wisdom of the most High God than money! King Solomon is such a great role model and he really taught me how to live my life in obedience, and in reverence to God! And plus, your reward will be much greater if you seek God’s wisdom and apply it to your life. Your life will be a whole lot easier too!!!!!
Proverbs 24:14 (AMP)
14 So shall you know skillful and godly Wisdom to be thus to your life; if you find it, then shall there be a future and a reward, and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off.
2 Chronicles 1:12 (AMP)
12 Wisdom and knowledge are granted you. And I will give you riches, possessions, honor, and glory, such as none of the kings had before you, and none after you shall have their equal.
Proverbs 1:5 “The wise will also hear and increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel so that he may be able to steer his course rightly.”
Q: What is the one thing that makes me go back to church and wanting a better relationship with God?
A: Love…
I was trying my best to come up with why I keep coming back. I really had to think about it because I have relied on God for a really long time and Church has become more like a habit or an addiction. And the Lord placed one word in my heart…Love. (Kind of ironic, huh?)The love God has shown me when I was unlovely, the love God has placed in my heart for others, and simply the love I have for my heavenly father. All of this because God is…well… love.(1 John 4:16). I think David said it best in Psalm 40:1-2 (Favorite scripture) “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” That is totally the story of my life. The love that God has shown me is unreal and I have to remind myself that he didn’t have to do that…I didn’t deserve it; but thank him that he did.
Pastor James is always talking about how we have to know who we are in relationship to our heavenly father. In C4D James D. asked us one question that really stuck with me. “Do you think that Jesus read and studied the Bible?” Some said yes and some said no. I thought about it and was reminded of the many times Jesus quoted scripture so I said yes. And was right, but the thing that really stuck with me was the story we read of Jesus getting lost when he was young (Luke 2:41-49). Mary and Joseph was all worried and found him, after 3 days, in the synagogue listening and reading along with the Priests and asking them questions. When asked what he was doing, Jesus was shocked that his mother and father didn’t know where he was because he always wanted to know more about his Father. "Why were you searching for me? Did you not know that I would be in my Father's House?"(Luke 2:49) I absolutely LOVE that story and it really humbled me.
Was it that Jesus was just curious or was it that he felt this connection to God, his father and just HAD to know more about him? That is the way I feel. I have felt his presence all my life and relied on him for so long that the relationship I have with him is strong, but I couldn’t possibly know all there is to know about him. We all need more God in our lives. I have this connection that nothing can break and I just want to know more about him—this God that Loves me and calls me his own…that paid for me with his own life. I think that is why I keep coming back to the Lord and wanting a better relationship with him.
The fact is that if I want to be more like Jesus, I have to know his character, and in order to know his character I have to know him.
As for the question of why TNT, I really don’t know. For some odd reason God as placed me in Arkansas at FCB and TNT and it absolutely works. The only reason it works is because the faithfulness of our Pastors and leaders. People who completely rely on God, and again, show love to us crazy kids.
Before I was living with my mom and was extremely worried about leaving everything I knew and was comfortable with to live with my dad. All along the Lord had a plan and that plan was Shelby Mcfarland. First week of school she comes up to me and says “Hi, I’m Shelby, I think you are in my English class. Wanna come and sit with me at lunch?” And the rest is history. She told me that she went to Family Church and that shocked me because my dad had went there for like 5 or 6 years and played drums for a long time. (for some odd reason, no one remembers me except Mrs. Jennifer and Pastor Lance…oh and Mr. Steve) So I went and right away it felt like home. To give someone else that feeling would be amazing. I got plugged in and God started leading me to different things like the Drama team and here I am, ready and willing to serve.
I like to look at it like Esther. Maybe God has called me for such a time as this (Esther 4:14)…I’m not saving a whole race of people, but to help someone feel the Love that God and the wonderful people of TNT has shown me would be my honor. Not to mention the crazy fun we have while doing it!
Luke 10:27 "He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love"
Luke 6:32-35 ""If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. If you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same amount. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."

Job 2:3
Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason."
It’s funny that Job came up this week because coincidentally I have been reading and studying Job! And yes integrity is one of the many good qualities Job had! The definition of integrity is: the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards. This means that you are not distracted or divided from Christ. Integrity is an important quality to have as a Christian because we, as Christians, are constantly darting attacks from the devil and to stand up in the end and say that through Christ we were able to have integrity, that is an honor!
Proverbs 11:3 (AMP)
The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the willful contrariness and crookedness of the treacherous shall destroy them.
When the attacks of the devil come around something that I have to do in order to keep my integrity is to block off the entire world by turning off my phone, locking my door, and just turning on some worship music and opening my Bible. If we let the devil’s attacks take over us and we give way to them then how will we, as Christians, take control and reach the dying of this world? The only way we can do that is to seek God and trust in Him when we feel like we are losing hope!

i have never read job 2:3 before and it was kinda interesting...i knew the story of job and stuff and how he was cursed with sickness and disease and his kids were killed and he lost all of his possessions. he was told to curse God by his own wife and refused to do it...in return he received loads more than wat he had.
sometimes i ask myself wat would happen if everything in my life fell apart. would i curse God?? i really dont kno wat i would do. id like to say that i would stay strong and faithful to my Lord and Savior but i dont kno...i think that is where intergrity comes into play. once we teach ourselves to live with intergrity in every situation, we can then begin to kno that we wont curse God with our actions and words becuz we live with integrity.
i had a hard time finding integrity in the bible but i did come across something that spoke of how pleasing integrity is to God.
"I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously."
-1 chronicles 29:17
this passage talks about how king david led his ppl with integrity and how God was pleased with him. when God searches our hearts, wat does he find?? does he find a person with integrity or a person who is concerned with their flesh
"For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”
-Mark 7:21-23
obviously our flesh is bad so it is safe to say that flesh equals wickedness...in the book of acts, it talks about how our evil thoughts, desires, and actions are so wicked that we should pray hoping he will forgive us.
"Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts,"
-Acts 8:22
i also ask myself wat would happen if i lived my life with complete integrity and did wat God wanted me to do all the time...wat would my life be like?? God's Word tells us to live with integrity so obviously if we live with integrity we are obeying God's command.
"Whether we like it or not, we will obey the Lord our God to whom we are sending you with our plea. For if we obey him, everything will turn out well for us.”
-Jeremiah 42:6
when we obey Gods command to live with integrity, everything will be well for us. there is one translation that says he will makes sure that it turns out good for us

Proverbs 20:3-"It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel."
~Strife is Satan's way of dividing a house, friendship, or relationship (marriage, boyfriend/girlfriend).
My family has gone through strife A LOT! It usually begins with me and my brother fighting over stupid stuff. Then that causes my momma and daddy to stumble in their marriage because they are trying to solve our problems plus theirs. So me and my brother now have self control and are learning when enough is enough and to jus be the bigger person in our conflict. And it all begins with the TONGUE.
"A fool's lips bring him strife, and his mouth invites a beating." - Proverbs 18:6
~Another way strife can inhibit someone is through friendships.
When me and a friend are going through something that is strife related it seeps into my family and my family is affected by it...that is how Satan works through the little things to ruin the things that mean the most to us like family.
Being unequally yoked with someone causes the most strife in a friendship.
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" - 2 Corinthians 6:14
~Strife can be stopped with Jesus's help. It is not the easiest thing in the world but we all have to start with self-control and give the situation to God and He will take care of it and us.
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13

Witnessing
this weeks topic was a really good topic because it really encouraged me. the past few weeks, i have been reaching out to ppl that happen to be atheist and that is hard in the first place, but recently a girl who is an atheist, lost her father to natural causes, and it was really hard to explain that there is a God who loves her when her dad just died.
Ezekiel 2:3-8 is an amazing scripture because, Ezekiel had the same problem. God even told him no one would listen. but he told him to go anyway, just because they needed to hear from God. no matter how hard it mite be to get the message God to them and for them to accept it, they have an eternal destination just like us, and they need to go to heaven.
God told us to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. it didn't say go and make disciples of all the ppl who are easy to talk to and get along with. we have our work cut out for us. we need to step up and get some initiative and not just go preach to the preachable and those who are receptive, but also, to the rest of the world.
"therefore, go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them, in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit."
-Matthew 28:19
just because ppl don't always respond to God as good as we mite have hoped, doesn't mean to shut up and keep ur faith to urself. when we acknowledge God publicly and don't deny the fact that we are a Jesus freak, u will see ppl flock to u. ppl have made fun of me for a while because i claim to be sold out to God and the things of God, and i live like a child of God, but those same ppl ask me to pray for them and help them and talk to them in their greatest times of trouble. if we don't proclaim God before men, who will. Jesus says that if we don't acknowledge God before men, he wont acknowledge us before his father.
"everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, i will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. but everyone who denies me here on earth, i will also deny before my Father in heaven."
-Matthew 10:32-33
we are called to be Christ like. if Jesus heard that their was someone who was not willing to accept his love and his forgiveness, he would approach them and talk to them and he wouldn't give up, we wouldn't love them any less, he would be heartbroken, but he would use that as motivation to win them over for his father. wat if we lived and proclaimed God like that. this world would have far less atheist and agnostics, and sinners in
it. we are called to be imitators of Christ in everything we do.
"Imitate Christ, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children."
-Ephesians 5:1
God wants as many kids as he can get and it is our job to do that no matter how stubborn or hard headed they are.

The Problem We Have Witnessing
We as humans all have a nature to want to stay in our little bubble, or our little comfort zone. We want to witness to who is easy to witness to. We never try to reach the people that aren't accepting Christ into their heart right off the back. One day we as a whole are going to have to decide to get off of our lazy badonkadonks and start a revolution of people that are willing to put their lives, name, and everything else on the line to witness to the hard headed ones to expand the kingdom of God.
We don't need to care about what people think of us. In the Bible it actually says that persecution for your faith will give you blessings in heaven. Matthew 5:10-11 says "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me." When you are insulted for your righteousness that is a sign that you are part of the revolution because everyone cares about how they look to people, and what people think of them. All that matters is what God thinks. I also have a problem with saying I can't.
I constantly tell myself oh I can't. I don't know that many people so I can't witness to them. Or I can't witness to them because they are all Christians. The truth is I can. Just because they say they are a Christian doesn't mean they are. They have to live it. And if they don't I have to live a lifestyle that will make them want what I have, not push them away. You probably heard from Pastor James that at one time Ghandi, who started the large Hindu movement across all of India, wanted to be a Christian until he met some. To me that says alot. That those Christians he met weren't living the lifestyle they were called to. If he met some and that discouraged him from being a Christian then they were doing the opposite of what they needed to. We have to live so that they want to be like us. To where they want the blessings we have.

Ezekiel 2:3-8
Witnessing
This scripture is awesome! And so is talking to me. Yes it is very hard for me to witness to people who are totally different then me. And those are the people who need Him the most. But yes I find it very hard for me to tell them about Jesus because I'm scared of what they might think of me. But the truth is, it does not matter what they think of me, because deep down inside they are wanting something more. They might not show us that they appreciate us telling them, but something I have to remember myself is that I don't know what they are going through. I'm not saying I tell everyone about God but, this year it is my goal to let everyone I come in contact with to let them know something is different about me...that I have an amazing God!
2 Timothy 2:15
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."
Sometimes its hard to be a christian. I find myself in situations where I am just like ahhhhhh....I want to say this but it will hurt their feelings and thats not what Jesus would do. We as CHRIST-ians need to be a friend to everyone even if you don't feel like it. Because trust me...I don't "feel" like it a lot. But if us being nice and just being there to listen and be different from everyone else, we could be the first Jesus they have ever meet. It could change their lives and give them hope.
Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
When I see someone that is totally living in sin I am like they are so bad. But I fail to look upon myself and see that I sin to, and in Gods eyes all sins are equal. So why am I judging them when I have the same problem. I can't witness to them until I get my life straight. Because then they think umm..I really dont want to be like that because her life isn't great. Yes my life will NEVER be perfect, but we can't help people until we get our lifes straitened out. Because then they won't see the amazing things God is doing in my/your life

Exodus 20:12
"Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long in the Lord your God is giving you."
Its seems that I am always talking about this verse and verses that have to deal with honoring your parents, but it is a problem i can't seem to fix. At camp God showed/told me something about my dad that brought me to tears. It was horrible. But it totally makes me want to change the way I treat him and talk to him. He can't change til I step out the way and let God change him. I have figured out I can't change him.
2 Chronicles 30:9
If you return to the Lord, then your brothers and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will come back to this land, for the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him."
Its hard for me to forgive my dad, for not being the Earthly dad I want him to be. It makes me mad. God showed me at camp that he is lost. The devil is trying to do everything to keep my dad away from letting him know God. Now that I know my dad doesnt know any difference it makes me sad to know that I have been putting him down all these years and that I was one of the main reasons why he doesnt have a close relationship with God.
Deuteronomy 4:7
What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?
I have been praying for my dad forever. Sometimes it seems like its hopeless. But I know its NOT!! My dad has gotten so much better with everything: Being a better dad, a better husband, and just a better person in general. But sometimes I just want him to change right here right now and let life be great with him. God has his own time so I guess its not my dads time yet...but its coming!! And I won't stop praying!
July 21 at 8:33pm
The most amazing thing that I learned at camp wasn’t necessarily from someone preaching, but God taught me something from His own mouth then confirmed it through one of Pastor Perry’s sermons. God spoke to me at camp a specific thing that I needed to hear, and Pastor Perry said some things in his lesson that confirmed what God had told me! God spoke to me and told me that I don’t need to worry about my future and what specifically I’m going to do, because when the time comes He will tell me which direction I need to go. Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.” Some people worry about these things, but right now as a junior I’m worrying about what I’m going to do with my life specifically! And this passage just reminds me that I don’t need to worry, because my Father has my life in His hands!
In one of Pastor Perry’s sermons he did at camp he said “Just obey, and God will give you strength” and this kind of confirmed what God was telling me to do. He was telling me to have faith in Him and let Him take control. And when I heard Pastor Perry say just obey and God will give you strength, it spoke to me by letting me know that if I just do what God is telling me and have faith in him then He will give me that strength to just let everything go to Him. God is faithful and just to supply all our needs, and I believe that with all my heart! Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
Whenever God tells you something and then confirms what he told you through someone else, man, there’s just nothing like that!!! I had to realize that I don’t need to worry about what I want to do, because the fact of the matter is, it doesn’t matter what I want to do, it matters what God wants me to do! Proverbs 3:5 “Trust the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” God knows better than me, so I don’t know why I tried to figure it all out on my own in the first place
Delayed Obedience is Disobedience
June 22 at 6:10pm
This saying really touched me when Pastor James mentioned it during c4d. it was like a common sense thing that really sunk in. I immediately applied this to my physical life with my parents. If momma asked me to do laundry i would say yea ill do next commercial. yeah then i would forget then i would get in trouble. but it wouldnt just affect me. it also affected momma. none of the laundry got done while she was working. but then i got to thinking bout this while i told momma what i learned in c4d that day. it doesnt jus mean obeying your parents without any delay but more importantly obeying God's commands without any delay. Moses didnt obey God when he cracked the rock with anger instead of grace... "in the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Mirian died and was buried. Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and AAron. they quarreled with moses and sed 'if only we had dided when our brotheres feel dead before the Lord! why did u bring the Lord's community into this desert that we and our livestock should die here.'...but the Lord sed to moses and aaron, 'because you did not trust in me enought to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community in o the land i gave them". -Numbers 20:1-13
at least when we disobey our parents we dont starve or thirst but it makes a difference when u think about it with God. Mose's whole future was changed jus because he did not obey God for a split second.
another example of obeying God is when he speaks to me to go talk to a person that needs Jesus. even if its in McDonalds or sumtin. if i dont keep a soft heart and listen to God then i will miss that opportunity and it jus wont affect me it also affects that person because i was the one who was called out to help them. "but when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. at that time you will be give what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but he Spirt of your Father speaking through you." - matthew 10:19-20
"i am the Lord's servant" mary answered. may it be to me as you hav sed." - luke 1:38
i want to be more like Mary more obedient to God. God would use me to touch many more peoples lives if i would jus slow down and be slow to speak and quick to listen. and if i heard i dont need to doubt that it was God and jus do it.

Delayed Obedience
“Obey your mother and father”, this is a phrase we hear a lot! But what we don’t hear a lot is how if we don’t do what we’re told when we’re told to do it then THAT is disobedience! I’ve never thought of it that way until here recently, but if your parents or even God tells you to do something, there is probably a reason they are telling you at that very time and moment, because that is the very moment they want it done. God tells you certain things at the exact moment He needs you to hear it. If you delay in doing what you are told, the whole objective behind doing what you were told might be lost! Deuteronomy 27:10 “ Thou shalt obey the voice of the Lord thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee THIS DAY!!” The boldness and exclamation marks I put in of course, but that is the most important part!
It is our job to follow God’s will for our life and to obey His every command : John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep my commandments.” When God gives us instructions He expects us to follow them completely and at that very moment. If He wanted us to do it a day later he would have told us a day later. For example, if God tells you to… Tell the person standing behind you in the line at Rue 21 about Jesus, and you decide to just do it when YOU feel like it then one minute passes, two minute passes, until… your opportunity to save that persons life is GONE!!!!! That’s why it is so important to obey the Lord’s commands when He tells you!
Disobedience in this way could mess up God’s plan for you and others around you! Not only this but disobedience brings about a result that I don’t want! Hebrews 4:6 “Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto, and they to whom the good tidings were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience”. God’s commands are simple and are for the best, it is not our place to question or throw in our suggestions. Maybe, just maybe, God could get a whole lot more done in the world if we would stop thinking we know a better way and just do what God tells us, WHEN He tells us to do it.
